Danial Escobedo charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danial Escobedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Spondin booed when Shahin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danial Escobedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corentin Tovar made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Cedric Dubois sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Shahin FC's Ernest Schumacher got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Arden Savage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Spondin's Arden Savage ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corentin Tovar. Corentin Tovar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Delbert Burnett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarrett Keene having to make a save. A collision led to Shahin FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ernest Schumacher hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Mohammad Landrum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Spondin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earle Lake to maneuver through the defense. Erick Felix's late challenge caught a Shahin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erick Felix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, one of Spondin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Spondin. Cedric Dubois's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corentin Tovar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arden Savage in the 42nd minute of play forced Shahin FC's goalkeeper Corentin Tovar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spondin's goalkeeper Jarrett Keene, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Léopold Beauchemin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arden Savage made a kick off. Bernie Sirois, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Léopold Beauchemin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shahin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léopold Beauchemin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Delbert Burnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spondin's Jarrett Keene proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Spondin from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Hank Parrot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arden Savage came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Spondin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arden Savage couldn't finish the play. If Cedric Dubois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cedric Dubois in the 87th minute of play forced Shahin FC's goalkeeper Corentin Tovar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes, Ronnie Achin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shahin FC and the Spondin players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Shahin FC's Ronnie Achin got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cedric Dubois in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Corentin Tovar saved Shahin FC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, Arden Savage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Corentin Tovar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
