Georges Bentley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arden Savage in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Spondin's goal looked a bit too open when Deangelo Villarreal came free, but Jarrett Keene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barthélémy Vazquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Keene having to interfere. Deangelo Villarreal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spondin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
