Willard Priest made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Coulter in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in West Toronto FC's zone, Théophile Oneal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Chabot came out of the goal and Théophile Oneal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Huntley hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Alonso Ochoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Chabot having to interfere. When Théophile Oneal came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Inter Toronto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Théophile Oneal couldn't finish the play. After having played for 20 minutes, Hank Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Toronto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hank Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Dean Jarvis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Théophile Oneal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Chabot was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Wilber McFadden hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Kieth Chen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Toronto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Théophile Oneal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Chabot. West Toronto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Théophile Oneal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Willard Priest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Coulter, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Lucas Coulter kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kieth Chen got free with Willard Priest in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th match minute, West Toronto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilber McFadden to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Coulter to make the kick off. Théophile Oneal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Danilo Chabot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When %teams%'s Théophile Oneal was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-2 just inside the left pole, 62 minutes into the game. Danilo Chabot was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Willard Priest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Coulter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, West Toronto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilber McFadden to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, West Toronto FC's Kieth Chen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willard Priest made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Inter Toronto's Willard Priest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kieth Chen in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to Inter Toronto getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Drew Gagnon hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lucas Coulter managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Toronto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Coulter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willard Priest breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lucas Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Théophile Oneal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Chabot having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Théophile Oneal in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Chabot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute, Wilber McFadden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willard Priest was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Kieth Chen might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willard Priest. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kieth Chen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 92 played minutes Inter Toronto got a freekick which was hit by Jake Lyle. After 94 played minutes West Toronto FC got a freekick which was hit by Noe Good. Inter Toronto's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because West Toronto FC had won, even though Inter Toronto had held more of the ball.
