Corentin Tovar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Granville Haines in the 9th minute of the match. Granville Haines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Corentin Tovar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Granville Haines in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Corentin Tovar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MancityBlues's Carrol Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léopold Beauchemin in the 18th minute of play. Neil Dufure hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leif Brady got free with Corentin Tovar in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corentin Tovar didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Léopold Beauchemin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Carrol Villalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léopold Beauchemin was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Granville Haines managed to get in a good position for a shot. MancityBlues's supporters rose to their feet, but Granville Haines was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corentin Tovar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corentin Tovar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Granville Haines in the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Mohammad Landrum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shahin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MancityBlues the free kick. A collision led to Shahin FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mohammad Landrum hit a great ball. Granville Haines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Brady's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corentin Tovar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Shahin FC defense, Leif Brady kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corentin Tovar. The Shahin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corentin Tovar should have stopped the shot. If Léopold Beauchemin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ellsworth Langelier's late challenge caught a Shahin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ellsworth Langelier helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MancityBlues getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ellsworth Langelier hit a great ball. Neil Dufure hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes, Granville Haines made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Shahin FC's Corentin Tovar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carrol Villalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léopold Beauchemin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to MancityBlues getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Neil Dufure hit a great ball. Carrol Villalobos was a little too slow when Léopold Beauchemin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 3-1. 96 minutes into the match, Shahin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Granville Haines came free, but Corentin Tovar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MancityBlues's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
