West Toronto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlee arena's zone, Wilber McFadden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Young Barber came out of the goal and Wilber McFadden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilber McFadden during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilber McFadden hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Reuben Maurer made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. West Toronto FC's Danilo Chabot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Danilo Chabot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuben Maurer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the game, Reuben Maurer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danilo Chabot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atlee arena's Reuben Maurer got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reuben Maurer in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Chabot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danilo Chabot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reuben Maurer's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Young Barber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Coulter in the 40th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Coulter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atlee arena's Young Barber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kieth Chen in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reuben Maurer in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Chabot saved West Toronto FC from getting behind. Reuben Maurer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Danilo Chabot skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 70 minutes of play, Atlee arena's Reuben Maurer made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danilo Chabot was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 74 minutes, Reuben Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlee arena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reuben Maurer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Maurice Guillory recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Danilo Chabot. Maurice Guillory showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Lyle Hendrix was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Atlee arena's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Carlton Starr charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlton Starr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 91 minutes into the match, Reuben Maurer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Chabot. West Toronto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reuben Maurer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6.
