The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drew Hough in the 3rd minute of play forced A.C.S.'s goalkeeper Rickey Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Montminy struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Rickey Hurley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canadian CO. When Lupe Munoz fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C.S.'s protests and gave Lupe Munoz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Canadian CO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob Cagle to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Montminy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 22nd playminute. When Lupe Munoz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. After 26 played minutes A.C.S. got a freekick which was hit by Lupe Munoz. In the 31stth minute of the game Dillon Phillips who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canadian CO's Wes Beebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Drew Hough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rickey Hurley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Alonso Arroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickey Hurley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickey Hurley was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Toby Hobson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Toby Hobson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dillon Phillips stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Michal Cannon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Canadian CO's zone, Dillon Phillips stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wes Beebe came out of the goal and Dillon Phillips tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
