John Blanchard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Monte Tardif tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 played minutes Tawatinaw AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jamey Cohen. In the 8th minute John Blanchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monte Tardif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kildonan's King Echeverri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kildonan from getting a goal against them. King Echeverri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Connor went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Scottie Parham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Kent Chu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Monte Tardif skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Théodore Reese during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Théodore Reese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If John Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Connor kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, John Blanchard notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tawatinaw AFC's Monte Tardif. Monte Tardif was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Blanchard in the 25th minute of play forced Tawatinaw AFC's goalkeeper Monte Tardif to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jamel Wilkinson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. John Blanchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Tardif having to interfere. When Arron Alonzo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kildonan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arron Alonzo couldn't finish the play. Monte Tardif didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kildonan's John Blanchard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Alejandro Battle charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejandro Battle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Tawatinaw AFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Battle. John Blanchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Tardif having to interfere. Monte Tardif took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthew Askew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Connor's late challenge caught a Kildonan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Connor helped the player get up and apologised. Adolfo Connor hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Blanchard in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monte Tardif prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alejandro Battle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, John Blanchard made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Tawatinaw AFC's Monte Tardif tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Arron Alonzo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Tawatinaw AFC's Monte Tardif. Monte Tardif was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. John Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 69 in the game by John Blanchard from a close distance when the talented Monte Tardif managed to make a qualified save. Tawatinaw AFC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rigoberto Beaver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kildonan's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Beaver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monte Tardif breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When John Blanchard came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Kildonan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Blanchard couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Beaver was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Kildonan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Kildonan getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. John Blanchard hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, John Blanchard fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Monte Tardif. John Blanchard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Monte Tardif skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kildonan's Arron Alonzo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monte Tardif made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when John Blanchard sent off a good shot on target. Alejandro Battle got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. John Blanchard kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If John Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Tawatinaw AFC's Scottie Parham seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Scottie Parham the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tawatinaw AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Scottie Parham had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tawatinaw AFC! When the final whistle sounded Kildonan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tawatinaw AFC.
