Seating: 1873, VIP seats: 162) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when John Blanchard kicked off to start the match. King Echeverri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Moore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Valère Boles fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hedley's protests and gave Valère Boles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Hedley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valère Boles to maneuver through the defense. John Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. King Echeverri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valère Boles in the 14th minute of play. Luther Costello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arron Alonzo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that John Blanchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luther Costello was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Blanchard in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luther Costello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Moore in the 22nd minute of play forced Kildonan's goalkeeper King Echeverri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diodore Dunham during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hedley getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Diodore Dunham hit a great ball. Jamel Wilkinson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Jordan Holbrook ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. King Echeverri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Valère Boles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of King Echeverri. Kildonan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valère Boles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. John Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hedley's Bertrand Lucas got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valère Boles made a kick off. Jordan Holbrooks short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got King Echeverri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Beaver in the 57th minute of play forced Hedley's goalkeeper Luther Costello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Antonio Moore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of King Echeverri. Kildonan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Moore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. King Echeverri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valère Boles, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 64 minutes of play, Hedley's Valère Boles made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. King Echeverri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Kildonan booed when Hedley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Holbrook didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hedley's Luther Costello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Blanchard in the 69th minute of play. Jordan Holbrook in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of King Echeverri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 71 in the game by Jordan Holbrook from a close distance when the talented King Echeverri managed to make a qualified save. Kildonan's players were relieved. King Echeverri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. In the 82nd minute of the match, Jordan Holbrook got a very nice opportunity to score, but King Echeverri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 84 played minutes Hedley got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Lucas. Luther Costello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Blanchard in the 86th minute of play. Valère Boles hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 92 minutes of play, Kildonan's John Blanchard made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luther Costello was left in no man's land by his defense there! John Blanchard kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Hedley were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Kildonan side.
