Bobby Welsh hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Monarch Park FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zane Robertson came free, but Broderick Hoffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lindsay McLeod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Broderick Hoffman having to interfere. Arnulfo Coffey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ed Farrar in the 29th minute. Bobby Welsh got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 31 played minutes Monarch Park FC got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Welsh. Ed Farrar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Coffey made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ed Farrar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monarch Park FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ed Farrar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnulfo Coffey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kareem Farr kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Wendell Bender's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Broderick Hoffman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 68th match minute, Monarch Park FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damon Trejo to maneuver through the defense. The Monarch Park FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Merbleue's performance. The match ended with a win for Merbleue.
