Rigoberto Beaver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elwood Potts having to interfere. Elwood Potts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Blanchard in the 80th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game John Blanchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dorset FC's Elwood Potts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dorset FC's Elwood Potts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Dorset FC from getting a goal against them.
