Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jonah Coles made the kick off which started today's match. Victor Guillory hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mathis Fountain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Tim McNeil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Tanner Swanson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanner Swanson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eastern's Mathis Fountain in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lavoy's goalie prevented a goal. Lavoy's Tim McNeil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Lavoy from getting a goal against them. Mathis Fountain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tanner Swanson struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Tim McNeil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eastern. Tim McNeil was a little too slow when Mathis Fountain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Eastern's Vicente Murray got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Victor Guillory fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eastern's protests and gave Victor Guillory a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lavoy booed when Eastern was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Guillory didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathis Fountain to make the kick off. Lavoy's Tim McNeil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathis Fountain in the 52nd minute of play. Tim McNeil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathis Fountain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanner Swanson in the 68th minute of play forced Lavoy's goalkeeper Tim McNeil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Mathis Fountain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mathis Fountain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eastern's Mathis Fountain got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Mathis Fountain sped through Lavoy's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tim McNeil. Jonah Coles might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kelvin Keene. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonah Coles ran back to his position shaking his head. When Victor Guillory was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 87th match minute, Eastern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Guillory to maneuver through the defense. If Tanner Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eastern had played much better football throughout.
