Spectators: 7994 (Terracing: 5997, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Brock Darby got the match started through his kick off. Kevin Hurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Darby in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, Yellow Jackets FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trevor Andrews to maneuver through the defense. Brock Darby took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kevin Hurt. Kevin Hurt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Gerard Graves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kevin Hurt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 20 minutes of play, Flatbush AFC's Brock Darby made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Hurt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurèle Wolf didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Henley went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Aurèle Wolf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Brandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Jeromy Bishop fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yellow Jackets FC's protests and gave Jeromy Bishop a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Yellow Jackets FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeromy Bishop. Kevin Hurt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Darby, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 1-4 became the score in the 38th minute when Brock Darby elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Flatbush AFC's Brock Darby in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yellow Jackets FC's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Flatbush AFC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aurèle Wolf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Henley in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Trevor Andrews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Yellow Jackets FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Donaldson. Troy Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurèle Wolf having to interfere. Joseph Henley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 minutes, Jewel Daigle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flatbush AFC and the Yellow Jackets FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Flatbush AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yellow Jackets FC:s goal. Kevin Hurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randy Déziel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute Troy Brandt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurèle Wolf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vespasien Jeffers took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurèle Wolf. Aurèle Wolf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. After having played for 95 minutes, Gerard Graves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flatbush AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerard Graves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kevin Hurt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brock Darby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flatbush AFC's Gerard Graves got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Flatbush AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
