After a rather tough play, Gigachads's Emmanuel Hood got a free kick in the 6th minute. Stacey Lemaître's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alec Deblois firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Emmanuel Hood fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gigachads's protests and gave Emmanuel Hood a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Gigachads got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Hood. Emmanuel Hoods short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Alec Deblois to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice moves Stacey Lemaître could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Alec Deblois however easily saved by the left post. In the 22nd minute, Stacey Lemaître made a precise shot to the right of Alec Deblois. Gatineau FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Stacey Lemaître sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alec Deblois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Refugio Kaiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Stacey Lemaître received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alec Deblois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alec Deblois was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stacey Lemaître showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. Refugio Kaiser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alec Deblois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jed Hammer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alec Deblois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refugio Kaiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Gatineau FC's goal looked a bit too open when Refugio Kaiser came free, but Alec Deblois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Edmundo Coté hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alec Deblois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Lemaître in the 56th minute of the match. Alec Deblois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stacey Lemaître went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Refugio Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alec Deblois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th match minute, Gatineau FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frances Briggs to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Stacey Lemaître shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alec Deblois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stacey Lemaître in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alec Deblois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Refugio Kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alec Deblois having to interfere. Alec Deblois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Refugio Kaiser's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Alec Deblois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refugio Kaiser in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gigachads had played much better football throughout.
