Denver Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micheal Gougeon, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Lothaire Borden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refugio Kaiser in the 15th minute of the match. Refugio Kaiser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lothaire Borden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's Felicien Cartier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Denver Meyer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felicien Cartier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 29 minutes, Refugio Kaiser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gigachads's supporters crossed their fingers, but Refugio Kaiser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Gigachads booed when Deathbridge Rattlesnakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Morris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stacey Lemaître sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Deathbridge Rattlesnakes getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Cliff Marsh hit a great ball. Stacey Lemaître might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lothaire Borden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stacey Lemaître ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Refugio Kaiser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lothaire Borden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's Lothaire Borden proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Deathbridge Rattlesnakes from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's Lothaire Borden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refugio Kaiser in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Stacey Lemaître cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lothaire Borden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Micheal Gougeon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Denver Meyer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lothaire Borden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Lemaître in the 61st minute of the match. Stacey Lemaître received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lothaire Borden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's zone, Stacey Lemaître stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lothaire Borden came out of the goal and Stacey Lemaître tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lothaire Borden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacey Lemaître, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lothaire Borden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refugio Kaiser in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felicien Cartier in the 79th minute of play forced Gigachads's goalkeeper Denver Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stacey Lemaître had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Refugio Kaiser in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lothaire Borden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 minutes, Glenn Peacock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deathbridge Rattlesnakes and the Gigachads players grew even worse after the yellow card. Glenn Peacock kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gigachads fully deserved thier win.
