Jesus Crowder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainier Drouin having to interfere. Trent Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elroy Sauriol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Winfred Granger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Rainier Drouin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jesus Crowder in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Rainier Drouin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Crowder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rex Brunault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Canada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olin Paimboeuf to maneuver through the defense. Winfred Granger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elroy Sauriol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elroy Sauriol in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Winfred Granger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venice's Rainier Drouin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Crowder in the 38th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Jesus Crowder rounded Venice's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trent Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Delmar Hunt fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venice's protests and gave Delmar Hunt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venice's Delmar Hunt got a free kick in the 60th minute. The corner led Canada FC's Buford Denis to fire away a dangerous shot which Rainier Drouin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Canada FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elroy Sauriol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Trent Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canada FC's goalkeeper Winfred Granger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jesus Crowder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Rainier Drouin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jesus Crowder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reuben Brewer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rainier Drouin having to interfere. In the 97th minute Trent Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Winfred Granger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Venice players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Canada FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
