An unexpectedly hard shot by Refugio Kaiser in the 5th minute of play forced Cheminis's goalkeeper Wilson Ferland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cheminis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gigachads the free kick. In the 8th minute, Modesto Stiles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stacey Lemaître recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Refugio Kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Ferland having to interfere. Cheminis's Wilson Ferland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stacey Lemaître in the 13th minute of play. Refugio Kaiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Kenny Harman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Refugio Kaiser put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Ferland. Gigachads's Denver Meyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Chan in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Gigachads getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Lemuel Dawkins hit a great ball. Gigachads's Stacey Lemaître got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Stacey Lemaître came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Gigachads fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stacey Lemaître couldn't finish the play. Wilson Ferland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacey Lemaître in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Cheminis's goal looked a bit too open when Refugio Kaiser came free, but Wilson Ferland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Refugio Kaiser came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Gigachads fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Refugio Kaiser couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Refugio Kaiser to make the kick off. Benoit Cartier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Emmanuel Hood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Ferland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Harman was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cheminis's Wilson Ferland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Cheminis from getting a goal against them. Refugio Kaiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Ferland having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Refugio Kaiser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gigachads's supporters crossed their fingers, but Refugio Kaiser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Wilson Ferland managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Gigachads's Stacey Lemaître fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stacey Lemaître recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th match minute, Cheminis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandy Lange to maneuver through the defense. When Refugio Kaiser came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Gigachads fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Refugio Kaiser couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Cheminis's Wilson Ferland got control of the ball when Stacey Lemaître tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Refugio Kaiser's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Ferland was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. If Refugio Kaiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute of the match, Emmanuel Hood tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Ferland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gigachads's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
