Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Trent Rodrigues got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Roger Connor notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venice's Rainier Drouin. Rainier Drouin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Trent Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Weberville's Cornelius Yarbrough got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 13 played minutes, Venice's Roch Cordero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clifton McGee came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Venice reached it. A collision led to Weberville getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cornelius Yarbrough hit a great ball. Trent Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clifton McGee having to interfere. Adolph Tinsley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rainier Drouin made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Roger Connor sent off a good shot on target. Gerry Guérette took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clifton McGee. Weberville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valère Serrano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Trent Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elroy Sauriol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Venice's zone, Adolph Tinsley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainier Drouin came out of the goal and Adolph Tinsley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolph Tinsley was the one to do the kick off. Roger Connor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Weberville booed when Venice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ed Stephens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Weberville's Roger Connor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rainier Drouin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venice's Rainier Drouin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Connor in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Boyd Desrosiers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Venice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyd Desrosiers to maneuver through the defense. When Venice's Trent Rodrigues in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Weberville's goalie prevented a goal. In the 97th match minute, Venice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Venice's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
