Spectators: 8026 (Terracing: 6021, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felicien Cartier kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Crowder in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lothaire Borden saved Deathbridge Rattlesnakes from getting behind. Jesus Crowder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lothaire Borden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Brunault in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Crowder in the 21st minute of play forced Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's goalkeeper Lothaire Borden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rex Brunault in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lothaire Borden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's goalkeeper Lothaire Borden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Rex Brunault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rex Brunault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rex Brunault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micheal Gougeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Crowder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lothaire Borden having to interfere. Lothaire Borden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rex Brunault in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jesus Crowder to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Felicien Cartier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Canada FC defense, Micheal Gougeon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Winfred Granger. The Canada FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Winfred Granger should have stopped the shot. If Micheal Gougeon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rex Brunault recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesus Crowder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canada FC's Rex Brunault got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Jesus Crowder fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's Manual Cotton got a free kick in the 86th minute. The corner led Canada FC's Buford Denis to fire away a dangerous shot which Lothaire Borden despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Canada FC's Reuben Brewer got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Crowder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lothaire Borden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lothaire Borden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Crowder in the 95th minute of play. When Glenn Peacock fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's protests and gave Glenn Peacock a yellow card for diving instead.
