Bret Pineda started the match with the kick off. If Felicien Cartier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Bret Pineda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lothaire Borden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hal Galindo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lothaire Borden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renaud Reed didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felicien Cartier went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Lothaire Borden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bret Pineda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry LaGarde struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Lothaire Borden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lesueur. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bret Pineda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lesueur's supporters rose to their feet, but Bret Pineda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lothaire Borden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th match minute, Lesueur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry LaGarde to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felicien Cartier was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Lesueur's goal looked a bit too open when Micheal Gougeon came free, but Renaud Reed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Bret Pineda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lothaire Borden, passed just outside the right post. Reyes Wyatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lothaire Borden having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Lesueur's goal looked a bit too open when Felicien Cartier came free, but Renaud Reed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's Felicien Cartier in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lesueur's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th minute, Hal Galindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lesueur booed when Deathbridge Rattlesnakes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenard Hopson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's Lothaire Borden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bret Pineda in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Lesueur getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Esteban Vertefeuille hit a great ball. Isaac Douffett didn't quite understand what happened when in the 77 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Bret Pineda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lesueur's Henry LaGarde got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Lesueur's Lothaire Borden threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bret Pineda, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hal Galindo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Lothaire Borden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lesueur. Manual Cotton hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's goal looked a bit too open when Bret Pineda came free, but Lothaire Borden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bret Pineda struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lothaire Borden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lesueur. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lesueur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Isaac Douffett was slow to take the kick. During this time Deathbridge Rattlesnakes's players had a chance to rest. Many of Lesueur's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lesueur may have spent more time on the ball, but Deathbridge Rattlesnakes were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
