With a left leg Brice Pollock saved Exstew FC from getting behind. 18 minutes into the match, Exstew FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Fair came free, but Brice Pollock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pinchi AFC's Arnaud Mendoza in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Exstew FC's Brice Pollock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basil Polk in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinchi AFC's goalkeeper Marion Willard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnaud Mendoza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brice Pollock read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When Perceval Carmichael fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Exstew FC's protests and gave Perceval Carmichael a yellow card for diving instead. Perceval Carmichael hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Basil Polk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Basil Polk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brice Pollock was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Arnaud Mendoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perceval Carmichael hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Basil Polk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinchi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basil Polk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Pollock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brice Pollock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaud Mendoza's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Pinchi AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Bill Burrows was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinchi AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Exstew FC the free kick. Jan Jacques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marion Willard. Pinchi AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 56th minute when Arnaud Mendoza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gordon Grimes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Pinchi AFC's Arnaud Mendoza, in the 65th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Pinchi AFC. Exstew FC's Brice Pollock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Exstew FC from getting a goal against them. If Basil Polk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Exstew FC's Perceval Carmichael got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Pinchi AFC's Basil Polk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brice Pollock. Brice Pollock yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Pinchi AFC's Marion Willard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al LaGarde in the 81st minute of play. Basil Polk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Pollock having to interfere. Arnaud Mendoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pinchi AFC's Basil Polk got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Arnaud Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
