Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Eldon Daviau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watcomb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes AFC the free kick. A collision led to Watcomb getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Federico May recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renaud Lebel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léandre Norman's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Joachim Lambert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watcomb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Watcomb's Joachim Lambert got a free kick in the 13th minute. Watcomb's Renaud Lebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léandre Norman in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute Léandre Norman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaud Lebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Carnes during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Ramiro Carnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ordered Eldon Daviau off the ground. After 24 played minutes Watcomb got a freekick which was hit by Eldon Daviau. Renaud Lebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 28 minutes, Michel Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Watcomb and the Varennes AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Michel Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robbie Peterson kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Buddy Huffman hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Léandre Norman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico May in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renaud Lebel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Federico May received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Renaud Lebel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renaud Lebel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léandre Norman in the 44th minute of the match. Roch Woods scored 0-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renaud Lebel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 64 played minutes Varennes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Roch Woods. Léandre Norman hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Watcomb's Renaud Lebel got control of the ball when Roch Woods tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Watcomb booed when Varennes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Finley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léandre Norman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Renaud Lebel firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Watcomb's Renaud Lebel got control of the ball when Léandre Norman tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Renaud Lebel managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Varennes AFC's Léandre Norman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the game, Shirley Houston was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watcomb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes AFC the free kick. Shirley Houston hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Federico May might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renaud Lebel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico May ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Varennes AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Watcomb throughout the match.
