After 13 minutes, Perry Keller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Montreal 2012 and the Pinchi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes FC Montreal 2012 got a freekick which was hit by Perry Keller. Olin Chavis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Basil Polk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinchi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basil Polk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute of the match, Arnaud Mendoza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Clint Deaton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Pinchi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lacy Arroyo came free, but Marion Willard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pinchi AFC booed when FC Montreal 2012 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Keller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Basil Polk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinchi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basil Polk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clint Deaton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Basil Polk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Clint Deaton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaud Mendoza might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clint Deaton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Montreal 2012's Gino Mackey slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marion Willard. That made the score 2-1 after 84 minutes of play. 87 minutes into the match, Arnaud Mendoza notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of FC Montreal 2012's Clint Deaton. Clint Deaton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute Basil Polk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clint Deaton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Burrows received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Clint Deaton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olin Chavis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pinchi AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Montreal 2012 for a fine match.
