The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Lazio Roma's Glenn Sierra threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Didier Carlson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Lazio Roma booed when Morson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonse Roy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Bartlett got free with Glenn Sierra in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th minute, Ivan Smart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Morson FC's Aaron Stacy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Villem Loodus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Smart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Villem Loodus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Margarito Beverly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glenn Sierra having to make a save. The supporters of Lazio Roma booed when Morson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Stacy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Ivan Smart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morson FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Morson FC's goalkeeper Glenn Sierra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Bartlett. Ivan Smart kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Lazio Roma getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Markus Sutton hit a great ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Javier Crews managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morson FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Crews was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Didier Carlson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villem Loodus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Crews in the 41st minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Margarito Beverly made a kick off. When Andy Park fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morson FC's protests and gave Andy Park a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lazio Roma booed when Morson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Barber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaétan Bonami took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Glenn Sierra. Morson FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Markus Sutton's late challenge caught a Morson FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Sutton helped the player get up and apologised. Markus Sutton hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Morson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Margarito Beverly came free, but Glenn Sierra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Didier Carlson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Sierra having to interfere. Villem Loodus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Stacy in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Morson FC's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Lawler came free, but Glenn Sierra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glenn Sierra came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Lazio Roma's Florencio Lawler. But to his dismay, Florencio Lawler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 81st minute, Didier Carlson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Villem Loodus made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Javier Crews sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th match minute, Morson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Smart to maneuver through the defense. Javier Crews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villem Loodus having to interfere. Glenn Sierra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Margarito Beverly, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
