With a little luck, Morson FC's Glenn Sierra got control of the ball when Edgard Bower tried to sneak it across the goal line. Morson FC's Glenn Sierra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Hannah in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Israel Hannah reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Glenn Sierra. The goal made the score 1-0. Morson FC's Ivan Smart got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Stacy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Javier Crews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaac Whitmore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Crews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Stacy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 54 played minutes Morson FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Smart. Javier Crews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Griswold got a freekick which was hit by Orval Bruneau. In the 64th minute, Javier Crews got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Israel Hannah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Sierra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morson FC's Aaron Stacy got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jarred Ruel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, Morson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Park to maneuver through the defense. If Israel Hannah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn Sierra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Hannah, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With 82 minutes on the clock, Alphonse Roy commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 81 minutes into the game, one of Morson FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Griswold a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonel Jeffers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Morson FC's Glenn Sierra. 2-0. If Javier Crews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Jarred Ruel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Sierra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Griswold fans cheered their team off the field, for while Morson FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
