Horacio Finley hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Lazio Roma's Gaétan Bonami couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Varennes AFC. 13 minutes into the game, Federico May cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Villem Loodus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lazio Roma's Villem Loodus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico May in the 19th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Sylvestre McGinnis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lazio Roma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes AFC the free kick. The supporters of Varennes AFC booed when Lazio Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylvestre McGinnis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Villem Loodus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Villem Loodus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Woods in the 33rd minute of play. Varennes AFC's Shad Ladner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Margarito Beverly in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Theo Keller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villem Loodus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roch Woods, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Shad Ladner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didier Carlson in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Lawler in the 47th minute of play forced Varennes AFC's goalkeeper Shad Ladner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Léandre Norman made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Lazio Roma's Florencio Lawler got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Federico May managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varennes AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico May was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Varennes AFC's goalkeeper Shad Ladner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Lawler. Varennes AFC's Shad Ladner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Varennes AFC from getting a goal against them. Lazio Roma's Villem Loodus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léandre Norman in the 70th minute of play. Villem Loodus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 74 played minutes Varennes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Doug Farr. Villem Loodus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico May, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Varennes AFC's Shad Ladner got control of the ball when Rodolfo Bartlett tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Federico May managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Margarito Beverly in the 93rd minute of play forced Varennes AFC's goalkeeper Shad Ladner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Varennes AFC had won after a very even match.
