Spectators: 8023 (Terracing: 6019, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Armando Rochon made the kick off which started today's match. If Armando Rochon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pons Powers in the 8th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Eldridge during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Keewatin getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Roman Eldridge hit a great ball. Arthur Vertefeuille was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kurt Schafer. Pons Powers took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zachary Gay. Zachary Gay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Omer Allaire's late challenge caught a Govan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omer Allaire helped the player get up and apologised. Arthur Vertefeuille was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cyrille Russo. If Connie McCann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Connie McCann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Gay having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Aurelio Darby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Pons Powers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Govan's Zachary Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connie McCann in the 37th minute of play. Armando Rochon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pons Powers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Gay having to interfere. Connie McCann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachary Gay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Keewatin's Armando Rochon managed to work through Govan's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Armando Rochon dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connie McCann in the 48th minute of play forced Govan's goalkeeper Zachary Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Colby Shipley to make the kick off. Reggie Post hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Clarence Duff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Zachary Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Govan's Zachary Gay got control of the ball when Pons Powers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Govan's zone, Armando Rochon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachary Gay came out of the goal and Armando Rochon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Aurelio Darby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keewatin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Darby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Connie McCann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omer Allaire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Gay having to interfere. Pons Powers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Zachary Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachary Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Connie McCann in the 93rd minute of play. The Govan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Keewatin were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
