Francesco Margand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeffery Madison's late challenge caught a Montreal Barca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeffery Madison helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CreamVipStar getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jeffery Madison hit a great ball. Chauncey Trépanier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Rodrigue having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Montreal Barca's goal looked a bit too open when Isidore Dubeau came free, but Gaylord Eason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Montreal Barca's zone, Isidore Dubeau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaylord Eason came out of the goal and Isidore Dubeau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Isidore Dubeau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CreamVipStar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidore Dubeau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chauncey Trépanier was the one to do the kick off. If Isidore Dubeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute of the match Carlos DuLin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaylord Eason skillfully saved the ball. Elwood Snider fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paris Rodrigue having to interfere. Paris Rodrigue stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chauncey Trépanier's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 67 played minutes Montreal Barca got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu McKay. The supporters of Montreal Barca booed when CreamVipStar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célestin Cardona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidore Dubeau struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gaylord Eason didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CreamVipStar. In the 78th match minute, Montreal Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffery Spencer to maneuver through the defense. If Isidore Dubeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathieu McKay hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Gaylord Eason showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Margand in the 88th minute of the match.
