Mario Sinclair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but David Baird made a huge save. In the 19th minute, one of Sicamous:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sicamous. Osvaldo Guertin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Fernando Dennison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Repentigny's Colton Pope sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léon Greenberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fernando Dennison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Homer Primeau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Homer Primeau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. David Baird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Homer Primeau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sicamous's supporters rose to their feet, but Homer Primeau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Baird breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Sinclair blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Baird having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Homer Primeau made a kick off. Fernando Dennison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léon Greenberg having to interfere. In the 61st minute Mario Sinclair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Baird saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Sinclair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. David Baird tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Repentigny's David Baird played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Sinclair in the 69th minute of play. Léon Greenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Dennison in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Homer Primeau put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Baird. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Robillard during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sicamous's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Sinclair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Homer Primeau sped through Repentigny's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Baird. 91 minutes into the game, Homer Primeau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. David Baird was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Léon Greenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colton Pope in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sicamous's zone, Fernando Dennison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léon Greenberg came out of the goal and Fernando Dennison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
