An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Blanton in the 8th minute of play forced Govan's goalkeeper Zachary Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachary Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christophe Blanton in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Blanton in the 14th minute of play forced Govan's goalkeeper Zachary Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Christophe Blanton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zachary Gay, 1-0. Rodger Léveillé succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 22nd playminute. Zachary Gay made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Rodger Léveillé sent off a good shot on target. Diodore Laird hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Christophe Blanton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zachary Gay having to make a save. Quintin Goldberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trinidad Lawler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Carlton Echeverri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zachary Gay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Christophe Blanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Govan's Zachary Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodger Léveillé in the 58th minute of play. Zachary Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christophe Blanton in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Govan's goal looked a bit too open when Rodger Léveillé came free, but Zachary Gay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Christophe Blanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Gay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christophe Blanton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zachary Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Garrett kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Christophe Blanton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waterloo Warriors's Quintin Goldberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colby Shipley in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Cyrille Russo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christophe Blanton in the 86th minute of play forced Govan's goalkeeper Zachary Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachary Gay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christophe Blanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Christophe Blanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Waterloo Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Christophe Blanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachary Gay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trevor Poisson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Waterloo Warriors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
