Philibert Cotton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demarcus Lange in the 26th minute of the match. Aristide Elder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mitchel Vadeboncoeur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Demolition A.F.C's Demarcus Lange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philibert Cotton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Philibert Cotton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Bériault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aristide Elder to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Thomas Bériault put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Philibert Cotton. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Philibert Cotton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 58th minute Danny Guilmette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitchel Vadeboncoeur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitchel Vadeboncoeur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Elder in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Elder in the 63rd minute of play forced Demolition A.F.C's goalkeeper Mitchel Vadeboncoeur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Demolition A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Caouette to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Danny Guilmette cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. The supporters of SmokeBombers FC booed when Demolition A.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickey Monjeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Elder in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitchel Vadeboncoeur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 87 minutes, Aristide Elder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SmokeBombers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristide Elder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mitchel Vadeboncoeur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Guilmette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Demolition A.F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Elder came free, but Mitchel Vadeboncoeur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
