Alfred Loomis started the match with the kick off. Dwight Guidry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lowell Kincaid, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Langley FC's Dwight Guidry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnold Course in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sport Recife's Arnold Course got a free kick in the 5th minute. Alfred Loomis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Noel Wynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Course sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Loomis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Wynn having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Sport Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Loomis came free, but Noel Wynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sport Recife's Noel Wynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Recife from getting a goal against them. Langley FC's Dwight Guidry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lowell Kincaid in the 34th minute of play. Russel Ewing charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Russel Ewing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sport Recife booed when Langley FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russel Ewing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lowell Kincaid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwight Guidry having to interfere. Noel Wynn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfred Loomis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Colombe Sneed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jared Simard kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnold Course got free with Dwight Guidry in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. One of Langley FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sport Recife:s goal. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Sport Recife's Gilberto Madrid got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dwight Guidry. Arnold Course fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwight Guidry having to interfere. In the 86th minute Lowell Kincaid shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwight Guidry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilford Howell charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilford Howell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Wilford Howell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Sport Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Colombe Sneed came free, but Noel Wynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnold Course in the 106thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dwight Guidry, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
