Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Morton Bondy kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Lazare Loomis notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Pakenham FC's Wilber Hurley. Wilber Hurley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th minute Alonzo Rowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilber Hurley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Leland Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watson fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Leland Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilber Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Rowley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morton Bondy, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Pakenham FC's Morton Bondy made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Becker was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Alonzo Rowley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilber Hurley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilber Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lazare Loomis in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Pakenham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Rowley came free, but Wilber Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Leland Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilber Hurley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pakenham FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Neville Lamy hit a great ball. In the 39th match minute, Watson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lazare Loomis to maneuver through the defense. Wilber Hurley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Davignon in the 42nd minute of the match. Marc Davignon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilber Hurley having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Alonzo Rowley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Rowley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Rowley was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Watson booed when Pakenham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanh Dyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilber Hurley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Rowley in the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Lazare Loomis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilber Hurley saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Davignon in the 78th minute of play forced Pakenham FC's goalkeeper Wilber Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilber Hurley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leland Guerra in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Rowley in the 87th minute of play forced Pakenham FC's goalkeeper Wilber Hurley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Pakenham FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neville Lamy to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Leland Guerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watson fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Wilber Hurley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Rowley in the 95th minute of the match. Leland Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Watson played a much better game than Pakenham FC and deserved their victory. The Pakenham FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
