Spectators: 8022 (Terracing: 6018, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reggie Metcalf took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a little luck, Pakenham FC's Wilber Hurley got control of the ball when Brice Gaulin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Cowley's Loyd Lutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilber Hurley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Wilber Hurley didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Pakenham FC's Wilber Hurley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pakenham FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Spencer Rochon in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barnabé Rutledge saved Cowley from getting behind. In the 18th minute, Loyd Lutz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilber Hurley. The goal made the score 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loyd Lutz got free with Wilber Hurley in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Cowley's Wilber Hurley threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Reggie Metcalf, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilber Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leland Jacobs, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Loyd Lutz scored 4-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilber Hurley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilber Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loyd Lutz in the 31st minute of play. Wilber Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leland Jacobs, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thaddeus Mobley got free with Wilber Hurley in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilber Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Ruffin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play, Pakenham FC's Spencer Rochon made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnabé Rutledge was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilber Hurley was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Georges Ruffin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Georges Ruffin really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Morton Bondy to strike the kick off in the second half. Reggie Metcalf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilber Hurley having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Leland Jacobs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cowley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Spencer Rochon kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Reggie Metcalf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilber Hurley. Pakenham FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reggie Metcalf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. Pakenham FC's Wilber Hurley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leland Jacobs in the 63rd minute of play. Wilber Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thaddeus Mobley in the 65th minute of play. Reggie Metcalf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilber Hurley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Pakenham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leland Jacobs came free, but Wilber Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Leland Jacobs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilber Hurley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilber Hurley came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Cowley's Loyd Lutz. But to his dismay, Loyd Lutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. The supporters of Cowley booed when Pakenham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erich Hachée didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilber Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reggie Metcalf in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute Leland Jacobs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilber Hurley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilber Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loyd Lutz in the 87th minute of play. Wilber Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Ruffin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Brice Gaulin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilber Hurley was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. Wilber Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loyd Lutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Cowley were the better team. Cowley's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
