After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Arnold Course managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Recife's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Course was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitchel Vadeboncoeur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th match minute, Demolition A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demarcus Lange to maneuver through the defense. Noel Wynn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demarcus Lange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Sport Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Bériault came free, but Noel Wynn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
