Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aristide Elder started the match with the kick off. When Danny Guilmette came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the SmokeBombers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Guilmette couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SmokeBombers FC booed when Sport Recife was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilford Howell didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SmokeBombers FC's Aristide Elder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Noel Wynn. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Sport Recife's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Aristide Elder scored to the left of an out of position Noel Wynn, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Sport Recife's Gilberto Madrid got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Sport Recife's goalkeeper Noel Wynn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danny Guilmette. 31 minutes into the match, SmokeBombers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lowell Kincaid came free, but Philibert Cotton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philibert Cotton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lowell Kincaid in the 32nd minute of the match. Sport Recife's Wilford Howell got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Sport Recife got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Course.

After a defensive mix-up in SmokeBombers FC's zone, Arnold Course stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philibert Cotton came out of the goal and Arnold Course tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Guilmette in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Noel Wynn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 played minutes Sport Recife got a freekick which was hit by Wilford Howell. Danny Guilmette might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Wynn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Guilmette ran back to his position shaking his head. SmokeBombers FC's Danny Guilmette got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SmokeBombers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sport Recife the free kick. SmokeBombers FC's Philibert Cotton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SmokeBombers FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lowell Kincaid in the 81st minute of play forced SmokeBombers FC's goalkeeper Philibert Cotton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Lowell Kincaid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Recife's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SmokeBombers FC the free kick. Lowell Kincaid kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Arnold Course managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Recife's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Course was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philibert Cotton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th match minute, SmokeBombers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lawerence Villalobos to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, SmokeBombers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lowell Kincaid came free, but Philibert Cotton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Sport Recife's Lowell Kincaid dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The supporters of SmokeBombers FC booed when Sport Recife was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Coats didn't get a good kick on the ball.
