Henri Shirley took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barnabé Rutledge. Cowley's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, La Medusa's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie Metcalf came free, but Vespasien Woods reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Reggie Metcalf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vespasien Woods saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Medusa's Vespasien Woods played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Metcalf in the 45th minute of play. If Brice Gaulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 66th minute, Ollie Kruse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Reggie Metcalf came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Cowley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reggie Metcalf couldn't finish the play. Reggie Metcalf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vespasien Woods having to interfere. La Medusa's Vespasien Woods played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Metcalf in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Ezequiel Wade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Medusa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ezequiel Wade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Brice Gaulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vespasien Woods showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reggie Metcalf in the 84th minute of the match. Vespasien Woods stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reggie Metcalf's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. If Reggie Metcalf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brice Gaulin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Medusa's Vespasien Woods played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loyd Lutz in the 97th minute of play. The La Medusa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cowley were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
