Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lon Dupéré started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Tlell's Lon Dupéré sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilber Hurley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Pakenham FC booed when Tlell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lupe Marcil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Pakenham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Laframboise came free, but Wilber Hurley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pakenham FC's Wilber Hurley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lon Dupéré in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Samuel Laframboise who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pakenham FC's Wilber Hurley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Spencer Rochon in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Royal Perrault saved Tlell from getting behind. Wilber Hurley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noe Morse, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Spencer Rochon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Royal Perrault tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morton Bondy in the 34th minute of play forced Tlell's goalkeeper Royal Perrault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spencer Rochons short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Royal Perrault to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Spencer Rochon in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Royal Perrault, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Royal Perrault made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Spencer Rochon sent off a good shot on target. Wilber Hurley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lon Dupéré in the 45th minute of the match. Morton Bondy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Pakenham FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Morton Bondy made the kick off in the second half. Royal Perrault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morton Bondy in the 52nd minute of the match. The corner led Pakenham FC's Thanh Dyer to fire away a dangerous shot which Royal Perrault despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morton Bondy in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Royal Perrault saved Tlell from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, Pakenham FC's goalkeeper Wilber Hurley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Laframboise. When Mariano Dickerson fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pakenham FC's protests and gave Mariano Dickerson a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tlell's zone, Morton Bondy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royal Perrault came out of the goal and Morton Bondy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pakenham FC's Wilber Hurley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lon Dupéré in the 73rd minute of play. Saul Driscoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Wilber Hurley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Saul Driscoll fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tlell's protests and gave Saul Driscoll a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th minute, Saul Driscoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Spencer Rochon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute, Spencer Rochon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pakenham FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pakenham FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
