Garfield Sparks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dwight Guidry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Dallas Hudson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Langley FC's Alfred Loomis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Mike Moïse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwight Guidry having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garfield Sparks in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dwight Guidry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hans Rodriquez's late challenge caught a Delph's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Rodriquez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Langley FC's Hans Rodriquez got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mike Moïse took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dwight Guidry. Dwight Guidry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Mike Moïse came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Delph fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Moïse couldn't finish the play. When Hans Rodriquez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Langley FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 34th minute, Mike Moïse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dwight Guidry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mike Moïse went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Delph were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Loomis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombe Sneed might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Meredith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Colombe Sneed ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Langley FC booed when Delph was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cory Keller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombe Sneed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Meredith having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Delph got a freekick which was hit by Cory Keller. Hans Rodriquez hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Mike Moïse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Langley FC's Dwight Guidry was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Garfield Sparks made a precise shot to the right of Dwight Guidry. Langley FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Mike Moïse might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dwight Guidry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mike Moïse ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mike Moïse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Delph's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Moïse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dwight Guidry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dwight Guidry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mike Moïse, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Garfield Sparks came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Delph fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garfield Sparks couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Langley FC's zone, Mike Moïse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dwight Guidry came out of the goal and Mike Moïse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mike Moïse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Garfield Sparks got free with Dwight Guidry in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Moïse in the 88th minute of play forced Langley FC's goalkeeper Dwight Guidry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mike Moïse in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dwight Guidry saved Langley FC from getting behind. Dwight Guidry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mike Moïse in the 92nd minute of play. Delph played a much better game than Langley FC and deserved their victory. The Langley FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
