Mitchel Vadeboncoeur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mitchel Vadeboncoeur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Metcalf, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Thomas Bériault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnabé Rutledge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Brice Gaulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demolition A.F.C's Mitchel Vadeboncoeur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Demolition A.F.C from getting a goal against them. Reggie Metcalf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitchel Vadeboncoeur didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Barnabé Rutledge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Bériault in the 46th minute of play.

After having played for 57 minutes, Reggie Metcalf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cowley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reggie Metcalf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cowley's Barnabé Rutledge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Bériault in the 71st minute of play. Reggie Metcalf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Reggie Metcalf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barnabé Rutledge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Bériault in the 84th minute of the match. Ross Thurman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Thomas Bériault was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Demolition A.F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Reggie Metcalf came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Cowley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reggie Metcalf couldn't finish the play.
