Despite this Dwight Guidry quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Billie Busch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dwight Guidry having to make a save. When Lanny Lambert came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FARGO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lanny Lambert couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lanny Lambert got free with Dwight Guidry in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FARGO's Billie Busch slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dwight Guidry. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Billie Busch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwight Guidry having to interfere. Bart Strange kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gonzalo Shook managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Lanny Lambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Lanny Lambert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dwight Guidry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FARGO fully deserved thier win.
