MyLittleBuenosAires's Prince Abraham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dee Bédard in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dee Bédard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prince Abraham was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. If Dee Bédard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute Laverne Théberge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Courtney Bolden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prince Abraham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Hammond in the 31st minute. Academy's Dee Bédard got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dee Bédard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. James Gant hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MyLittleBuenosAires were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dee Bédard to strike the kick off in the second half. Mervin Bartley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Courtney Bolden made a huge save. Dee Bédard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lamar Riddle kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Courtney Bolden was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sal Whalen. Prince Abraham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dee Bédard, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Academy booed when MyLittleBuenosAires was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Gant didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Dee Bédard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prince Abraham was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Dee Bédard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prince Abraham having to interfere. In the 89th minute, MyLittleBuenosAires's James Gant dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Laverne Théberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 95 minutes, James Gant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MyLittleBuenosAires and the Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to MyLittleBuenosAires getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. James Gant hit a great ball.
