An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Shah in the 12th minute of play forced Montreal ImPaCt's goalkeeper Porfirio Burris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Montreal ImPaCt's zone, Joey Shah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Porfirio Burris came out of the goal and Joey Shah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joey Shah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfirio Burris having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Joey Shah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joey Shah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Porfirio Burris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Montreal ImPaCt's goalkeeper Porfirio Burris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Errol Lilly. If Errol Lilly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Errol Lilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Errol Lilly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michale Bureau charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michale Bureau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of GALATASARAY SK booed when Montreal ImPaCt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michale Bureau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Errol Lilly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Willis Wilburn got free with Porfirio Burris in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Porfirio Burris was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Willis Wilburn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Willis Wilburn really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The GALATASARAY SK fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when GALATASARAY SK's Joey Shah looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Joey Shah made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Errol Lilly managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Errol Lilly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Porfirio Burris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joey Shah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Shah in the 61st minute of play forced Montreal ImPaCt's goalkeeper Porfirio Burris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Montreal ImPaCt defense, Joey Shah kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Porfirio Burris. The Montreal ImPaCt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Porfirio Burris should have stopped the shot. Isaiah McCall kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bud McFarland struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Porfirio Burris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY SK. In the 68th minute Errol Lilly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfirio Burris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Shah in the 72nd minute of play forced Montreal ImPaCt's goalkeeper Porfirio Burris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Porfirio Burris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Shah, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Willis Wilburn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Porfirio Burris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Joey Shah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joey Shah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th match minute, Montreal ImPaCt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michale Bureau to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Montreal ImPaCt's goal looked a bit too open when Errol Lilly came free, but Porfirio Burris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joey Shah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porfirio Burris having to interfere. GALATASARAY SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
