Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zachary Christensen got the match started through his kick off. Sang Coleman came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Torrance's Zachary Christensen. But to his dismay, Zachary Christensen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Zachary Christensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sang Coleman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Christensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Millard Albrecht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sang Coleman having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Torrance's Zachary Christensen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sang Coleman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute, Octavio Cantu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Sang Coleman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Cantu in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachary Christensen in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sang Coleman saved Raptors Soccer from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zachary Christensen in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sang Coleman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zachary Christensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sang Coleman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachary Christensen ran back to his position shaking his head. When Zachary Christensen came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Torrance fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachary Christensen couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Christensen in the 47th minute of play forced Raptors Soccer's goalkeeper Sang Coleman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Torrance were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Finney to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Millard Albrecht in the 52nd minute of play forced Raptors Soccer's goalkeeper Sang Coleman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raptors Soccer's Sang Coleman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Raptors Soccer from getting a goal against them. If Millard Albrecht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Christensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Sang Coleman made a huge save. Zachary Christensen in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sang Coleman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alfred Reese hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When Christian Tharp came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Raptors Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Tharp couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Zachary Christensen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sang Coleman. That made the score 0-5 in the 70 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Raptors Soccer's zone, Zachary Christensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sang Coleman came out of the goal and Zachary Christensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Raptors Soccer's Sang Coleman got control of the ball when Zachary Christensen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sang Coleman made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Octavio Cantu sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the game, Benny Block was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raptors Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrance the free kick. In the 85th match minute, Raptors Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Block to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Cantu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sang Coleman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zachary Christensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachary Christensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torrance played a much better game than Raptors Soccer and deserved their victory. The Raptors Soccer players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
