Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Odis Petrie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Odis Petrie scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sang Coleman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fredric Finney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walton Moore having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Raptors Soccer's Robby Law got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Claude Kay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Tharp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th match minute, Simcoe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Siegel to maneuver through the defense. Sang Coleman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Kay, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Odis Petrie spun around in front of the goal 40 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Raptors Soccer's goal. Claude Kay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sang Coleman having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Finney to make the kick off. Claude Kay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Sang Coleman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Simcoe FC's Odis Petrie got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claude Kay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute of the match Iréné McQueen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sang Coleman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute of the match, Claude Kay got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sang Coleman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 68th minute Odis Petrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sang Coleman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Claude Kay came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Simcoe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claude Kay couldn't finish the play. Christian Tharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Walton Moore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredric Finney hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Odis Petrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simcoe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Odis Petrie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st match minute, Simcoe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominic Banks to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Eric Siegel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Claude Kay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simcoe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claude Kay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Odis Petrie, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sang Coleman was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Simcoe FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
