Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Odis Petrie made the kick off and thus started the match. Simcoe FC's Walton Moore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renard Dumas in the 12th minute of play. Simcoe FC's Claude Kay got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17thth minute of the game Odis Petrie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Connaught's Phillip Bradshaw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Odis Petrie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Phillip Bradshaw came out and tried to block the shot, but Odis Petrie slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. Mitchell Schwartz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Odis Petrie did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Phillip Bradshaw 36 minutes into the match. If Odis Petrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chadwick Hooper to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Simcoe FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Siegel. Eric Siegel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Bradshaw having to interfere. Tomas Mims hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Phillip Bradshaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odis Petrie in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Thad Dick notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Connaught's Phillip Bradshaw. Phillip Bradshaw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Odis Petrie struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Phillip Bradshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simcoe FC. Connaught's Phillip Bradshaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Kay in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Claude Kay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phillip Bradshaw was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Claude Kay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Odis Petrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Bradshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Mims during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Tomas Mims hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claude Kay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Odis Petrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claude Kay in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Bradshaw prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Quentin Akers hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Simcoe FC's Odis Petrie got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Simcoe FC fully deserved thier win.
