The supporters of Craigmyle booed when Pictou AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Velazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pictou AFC's zone, Léonard Morales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Aguirre came out of the goal and Léonard Morales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes of play, Craigmyle's Merle Reyna made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Aguirre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramiro Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merle Reyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Léonard Morales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Aguirre was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 29th match minute, Pictou AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Velazquez to maneuver through the defense. Pictou AFC's Ramiro Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léonard Morales in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Pictou AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Andre Rowland hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merle Reyna in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Aguirre saved Pictou AFC from getting behind. Merle Reyna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léonard Morales might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Aguirre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Léonard Morales ran back to his position shaking his head. The Pictou AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Craigmyle were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Perry Sneed to strike the kick off in the second half. Pictou AFC's Perry Sneed got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Corey Nesbitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pictou AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Corey Nesbitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ned Fontaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Merle Reyna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Léonard Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Craigmyle's supporters rose to their feet, but Léonard Morales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Aguirre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Léonard Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ramiro Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pictou AFC defense, Léonard Morales kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Aguirre. The Pictou AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Aguirre should have stopped the shot. Ulrich Braswell hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Corey Nesbitt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Léonard Morales came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ramiro Aguirre could save by the left post. Léonard Morales scored 0-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Aguirre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pictou AFC's Ramiro Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merle Reyna in the 86th minute of play. Léonard Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merle Reyna in the 94th minute of the match. If Merle Reyna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Léonard Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craigmyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léonard Morales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Craigmyle could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pictou AFC throughout the match.
