Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Torrance's Zachary Christensen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Millard Albrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Bradshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Alexander Clément hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 15 minutes, Quentin Akers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Connaught's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Akers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Cameron Grossman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Torrance's Zachary Christensen in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Torrance booed when Connaught was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin Akers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Zachary Christensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ward Crowell's late challenge caught a Torrance's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ward Crowell helped the player get up and apologised. Ward Crowell kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Torrance's Zachary Christensen got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Cantu in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phillip Bradshaw saved Connaught from getting behind. After 39 minutes of play, Torrance's Zachary Christensen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phillip Bradshaw was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute Zachary Christensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Bradshaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Connaught players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Torrance were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chadwick Hooper was the one to do the kick off. Zachary Christensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Phillip Bradshaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 58 in the game by Zachary Christensen from a close distance when the talented Phillip Bradshaw managed to make a qualified save. Connaught's players were relieved. Zachary Christensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Phillip Bradshaw made a huge save. A hard, long distance shot from Erin Vernon flew over the goal. Phillip Bradshaw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachary Christensen's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachary Christensen in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phillip Bradshaw saved Connaught from getting behind. When Torrance's Zachary Christensen in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Connaught's goalie prevented a goal. Phillip Bradshaw stood somewhat misplaced when Zachary Christensen came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Ward Crowell kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. With his leg Phillip Bradshaw managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Torrance's Zachary Christensen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zachary Christensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phillip Bradshaw. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zachary Christensen ran back to his position shaking his head. Phillip Bradshaw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Christensen in the 83rd minute of the match. Alfred Reese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Bradshaw having to interfere. When Zachary Christensen came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Torrance fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zachary Christensen couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alfred Reese managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrance's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Reese was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Bradshaw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Connaught's Phillip Bradshaw got control of the ball when Zachary Christensen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zachary Christensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Phillip Bradshaw made a huge save.
