Spectators: 6837 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fredric Finney kicked off to start the match. Donn Matson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sang Coleman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Brant Nichols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sang Coleman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match, Brant Nichols tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sang Coleman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Christian Tharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Man Holland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sang Coleman made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Monte Denton sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Raptors Soccer's goalkeeper Sang Coleman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monte Denton. In the 20thth minute of the game Christian Tharp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swanson's Man Holland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Tharp in the 22nd minute of play forced Swanson's goalkeeper Man Holland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Man Holland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Tharp in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fredric Finney during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fredric Finney hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, Swanson's Monte Denton made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sang Coleman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the match, Raptors Soccer's goalkeeper Sang Coleman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monte Denton.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brant Nichols was the one to do the kick off. If Brant Nichols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Raptors Soccer's zone, Monte Denton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sang Coleman came out of the goal and Monte Denton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Fredric Finney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Tharp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Man Holland having to interfere. Swanson's Man Holland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Finney in the 62nd minute of play. Raptors Soccer's Fredric Finney got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, one of Raptors Soccer:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Randal Ham walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Sang Coleman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Nichols in the 84th minute of the match. Christian Tharp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Man Holland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fredric Finney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Donn Matson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Man Holland was a little too slow when Fredric Finney got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 98th minute. The score was now 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Raptors Soccer players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Swanson.
