André Langelier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glencoe IFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachary Christensen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After the first half Torrance were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Burgess to make the kick off. Zachary Christensen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of André Langelier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zachary Christensens short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got André Langelier to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Glencoe IFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Francisco Burgess hit a great ball. Glencoe IFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Zachary Christensen scored to the left of an out of position André Langelier, making the score, 0-8. The supporters of Glencoe IFC booed when Torrance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erin Vernon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Zachary Christensen sped through Glencoe IFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of André Langelier. Les Seay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. André Langelier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Langelier came out of the goal and Octavio Cantu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Zachary Christensen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Langelier. Francisco Burgess charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Burgess the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Millard Albrecht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Torrance left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Glencoe IFC.
