Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Octavio Cantu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Léonard Morales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cameron Spicer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Millard Albrecht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Octavio Cantu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ned Fontaine came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Torrance's Erin Vernon. But to his dismay, Erin Vernon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 21 minutes, Zachary Christensen made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Craigmyle's Ned Fontaine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Torrance booed when Craigmyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Matson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ned Fontaine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zachary Christensen's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. If Zachary Christensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Cantu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Torrance getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Alexander Clément hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Millard Albrecht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torrance fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merle Reyna to strike the kick off in the second half. When Chadwick Melanson fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torrance's protests and gave Chadwick Melanson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Chadwick Melanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Alfred Reese was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torrance's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Craigmyle the free kick. After having played for 64 minutes, Everett Sosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craigmyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everett Sosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Léonard Morales struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cameron Spicer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Craigmyle. Zachary Christensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ned Fontaine having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play Torrance's Alfred Reese was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alfred Reese hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Léonard Morales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cameron Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Merle Reyna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Craigmyle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Merle Reyna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cameron Spicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léonard Morales in the 88th minute of play.
